DTC 04

1. Check temperature sensor electrical connectors for poor connections, correcting as necessary.
2. If connections are satisfactory, check resistance of intake air temperature sensor.
3. If resistance is not .094-73.8k ohms, replace intake air temperature sensor.
4. If resistance is .094-73.8k ohms, measure voltage at ``2J'' terminal of EGI control unit.
5. If voltage is 12 volts, check for open circuit in harness wiring.
6. If there is no voltage, there is a short circuit in wiring harness or the EGI control unit is defective.
