DTC 03

1. Check water thermo sensor electrical connectors for poor connections, correcting as necessary.
2. If connections are satisfactory, check resistance of water thermo sensor.
3. If resistance is not .094-73.8k ohms, replace water thermo sensor.
4. If resistance is .094-73.8k ohms, measure voltage at ``2I'' terminal of EGI control unit.
5. If voltage is 12 volts, check for open circuit in wiring harness.
6. If there is no voltage, there is short circuit in wiring harness or EGI control unit is defective.
