DTC 01

1. Check whether connector to negative terminal of ignition coil is connected, correcting as necessary.
2. If connector is properly connected, check voltage at ``1M'' terminal of EGI control unit.
3. If voltage is not within specifications, check for open or short circuit in wiring harness from ignition coil to the ``1M'' terminal.
4. If voltage is within specifications, EGI control unit is defective.
