Normal Operation
The climate controlled seat switch provides ground to the climate controlled seat module (CCSM) pin 16, circuit 1551 (VT/WH) to request COOL mode or pin 6, circuit 1551 (VT/WH) to request HEAT mode. The CCSM also outputs voltage to the climate controlled seat switch thumb-wheel on circuit 1018 (LG/OG) (driver) or 579 (BK/OG) (passenger). Based on the setting of the climate controlled seat switch, the voltage is then output to the CCSM on circuit 1550 (WH/OG) to request the desired temperature setting of the seat.

Possible Causes
A single climate controlled seat that does not operate or does not operate correctly can be caused by:
- wiring, terminals, or connectors.
- climate controlled seat switch.
- CCSM.
