Normal Operation
When the remote keyless entry (RKE) keypad illumination is activated, the vehicle security module supplies power to circuit 66 (LB) to illuminate the RKE keypad. The RKE keypad is grounded through circuit 1205 (BK).

Possible Causes
- circuit 66 (LB) open or short to ground
- circuit 1205 (BK) open
- RKE keypad
- vehicle security module
