Removal

1UR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: AIR SWITCHING VALVE (for Bank 2): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER Removal

2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE Removal

4. DISCONNECT NO. 3 VENTILATION HOSE





5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE





6. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY





(a) Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the air switching valve connector.

(b) Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness clamp bracket.





(c) Remove the 2 bolts.





(d) Remove the 3 bolts, air switching valve and gasket.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the surfaces that contact the gasket.
