Installation
HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: REAR AIR CONDITIONING UNIT: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL REAR ROOF NO. 1 AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the 4 clips.
2. INSTALL REAR ROOF NO. 2 AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the clip.
3. INSTALL REAR ROOF NO. 3 AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the clip.
4. INSTALL REAR ROOF NO. 4 AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the clip.
5. INSTALL REAR ROOF NO. 5 AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the clip.
6. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the rear cooling unit to the vehicle with the 5 bolts.
HINT
Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the 4 connectors.
(c) Attach the 3 clamps.
7. INSTALL REAR SIDE NO. 1 AIR DUCT
(a) Insert the upper part of the duct into the roof side duct and, using that point as a pivot point, swing the duct into place and install it to the rear cooling unit.
(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the cooler plate.
8. INSTALL REAR SIDE NO. 3 AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the 2 clips.
9. INSTALL REAR SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the 2 clips and attach the clamp.
10. INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH Installation
11. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.
(c) Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.
(d) Connect the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.
(e) Install the bolt.
Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
(f) Connect the heater water inlet hose and heater water outlet hose.
(g) Using pliers, grip the claws of the clips and slide the 2 clips.

16. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER Installation
17. INSTALL NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP Installation
18. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK Installation
19. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER Installation
20. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) Installation
21. INSTALL OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER Installation
22. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Installation
23. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation
24. INSTALL QUARTER SCUFF PLATE RH Installation
25. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR FLOOR STEP COVER Installation
26. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
(a) for 60/40 Split Double-folding Seat Type LH Side:
Install the rear No. 1 seatback assembly Installation.
(b) for 60/40 Split Double-folding Seat Type RH Side:
Install the rear No. 1 seatback assembly Installation.
(c) for 60/40 Split Slide Walk-in Seat Type LH Side:
Install the rear No. 1 seatback assembly Installation.
(d) for 60/40 Split Slide Walk-in Seat Type RH Side:
Install the rear No. 1 seatback assembly Installation.
27. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the rear No. 2 seat assembly Installation.
28. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
29. ADD ENGINE COOLANT
(a) Add engine coolant Service and Repair.
30. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair
31. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair
32. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS
(a) Check for engine coolant leaks Service and Repair.
33. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT GAS LEAK Service and Repair
34. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
35. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Installation
