NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal
7. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Removal
8. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal
9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY
(a) Remove the 4 bolts.
(b) Pull the display and navigation module display to detach the 7 clips on the backside of the display and navigation module display.
(c) Disconnect the connectors and remove the display and navigation module display.
12. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET
(a) Detach the claw and clamp and remove the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket.
13. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET
(a) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket.
14. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Detach the 8 claws and remove the center instrument panel register.
15. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
