REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION
Service Precautions
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE W/CONVERTER INVERTER ASSEMBLY
Removal
4. REMOVE INVERTER BRACKET NO.1 Removal

5. REMOVE EMISSION CONTROL VALVE SET Removal

6. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK Removal

7. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB

8. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER FRONT Removal

9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal

11. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER Removal

13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

14. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

15. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.2 Removal

16. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

17. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER LH Removal

18. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER RH Removal

19. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER Removal

20. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX HOLE COVER Removal

21. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX HOLE COVER NO.2 Removal

22. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

23. REMOVE CONSOLE COVER LOWER Removal

24. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) In the engine compartment





(1) Remove the nut from the control shaft lever.





(2) Remove the clip and disconnect the control cable from the control cable bracket.






(b) Disconnect the control cable from the control cable bracket No.2.
(c) In the cabin





(1) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the cable end from the shift lever assembly.





(2) Pull out the stopper cap of the transmission control cable assembly.





(3) Turn the socket of the transmission control cable counterclockwise and remove the stopper cap.
NOTE: Do not push in the stopper cap.

27. REMOVE AIR DUCT REAR NO.1 Removal

28. REMOVE AIR DUCT REAR NO.2 Removal

29. REMOVE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY CENTER Removal

30. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 3 bolts.
(b) Pull out the control cable from the body.
