Removal

WIPER / WASHER: WASHER MOTOR (for Front Side): REMOVAL


1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH Removal

3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL PROTECTOR PIPE Removal

4. REMOVE SIDE STEP ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws.
(c) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 grommets, 12 clips and fender liner.





6. DRAIN WASHER FLUID






(a) Remove the washer hose from the windshield washer motor and pump, and drain the washer fluid.
7. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Using a clip remover, remove the clip and washer inlet.
8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY






(a) w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
(1) Detach the clamp.
(2) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(3) Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.
(b) w/o Headlight Cleaner System:
(1) Detach the clamp.
(2) Disconnect the connector.






(c) Remove the 4 bolts. Then remove the windshield washer jar.
9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the windshield washer motor and pump assembly together with the gasket in the direction shown in the illustration.
(b) Disconnect the connector.
