CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: MAYDAY BATTERY: INSTALLATION

HINT:
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL MAYDAY BATTERY






(a) Install the battery to the bracket.
2. INSTALL MAYDAY BATTERY WITH BRACKET






(a) Attach the bracket and battery to the bracket with the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.






(b) Install the bracket with the nut.
Torque: 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
(c) Attach the clamp.
3. INSTALL TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Installation

4. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
8. PERFORM REGISTRATION
(a) Perform registration Programming and Relearning.
NOTICE:
When replacing the portable phone battery or telephone ECU (together with the portable phone battery), perform registration.
