Slip Indicator Light does not Come ON

DESCRIPTION

The SLIP indicator blinks during VSC, TRAC, A-TRAC, AUTO LSD, downhill assist control or hill-start assist control operation.
When the system fails, the SLIP indicator comes on to warn the driver Diagnosis System.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT
(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
(b) Ground terminal IND of the skid control ECU.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
(d) Check that the SLIP indicator light comes on.
OK:
SLIP indicator light comes on.
OK -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - COMBINATION METER)





(a) Disconnect the combination meter connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (IND CIRCUIT)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the combination meter system Meter / Gauge System.
NG -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
OK -- END
