Rear Bumper Cover
This is a "Trustmark Authoring Standards (TAS) Repair Procedure"
- TAS style procedures can be identified by steps that have no accompanying step text and the magenta color of the electrical connectors and fasteners such as nuts, bolts, clamps or clips.
- TAS removal and installation procedures use a sequence of color illustrations to indicate the order to be followed when removing/disassembling or installing/assembling a component.
- Many of the TAS procedures will have the installation information within the removal steps.
- The TAS color illustrations use a variety of symbols to indicate important details of the procedures. It is important to understand these symbols in order to properly used the TAS procedures.

Removal
NOTE:
New bumper covers are supplied without the four holes for the park distance control sensors.
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
1 Raise and support the vehicle.
2 Remove both rear wheels and tires.

3 Remove the rear lamp assemblies.

Release the rear lower edge of the rear fender splash shield.
Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
If installed, disconnect the parking aid sensor wiring harness electrical connector.
Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
4 If installed, remove the parking aid sensor wiring harness.
5 If installed, remove the 4 parking aid sensors.
Installation
CAUTION: Align the special tool cutting edge with the contour of the bumper cover. Make sure it does not rotate while cutting the hole.
CAUTION: To avoid excess adhesive being pushed through the cut bumper hole when fitting the trims, ensure the adhesive is applied as illustrated.
1 For adhesive information, refer to the specification section.

CAUTION: Allow adhesive to cure for 2 hours before proceeding to fit bumper.
2 Install the reflectors.
3 Install the parking aid sensors.
4 Install the parking aid sensor wiring harness.
5 Install the rear bumper cover.
6 Secure the fender splash shield.
7 Install the bumper cover trim panel.
8 Install the rear lamp assemblies.

9 Install the wheels and tires.
