IACV stepper motor circuit open circuit (Driving Cycle *)

Possible causes by suggested order of priority:
- Connectors C634, C117.
- Circuit integrity C634/35 (OR) - C117/A (OR).
- Circuit integrity C634/15 (US) - C117/D (US).
- Circuit integrity C634/16 (RG) - C117/B (RG).
- Circuit integrity C634/34 (GW) - C117/C (GW).
- Stepper motor.
- ECM.

Connectors C634, C117.
- Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

Circuit integrity C634/35 (OR) - C117/A (OR).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers

Circuit integrity C634/15 (US) - C117/D (US).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers

Circuit integrity C634/16 (RG) - C117/B (RG).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers

Circuit integrity C634/34 (GW) - C117/C (GW).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers

Stepper motor.
- Stepper motor coil resistances.
- Coil AD between pins A and D of stepper motor connector C117.
- Coil BC between pins B and C of stepper motor connector C117.
PASS VALUES: 40 to 60 Ohms for each coil.

ECM.
