This code is set when antenna circuit is opened.

Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Signal Circuit Inspection

1. IG KEY "OFF"
2. Disconnected XM antenna connector and Tuner&Amplifier connector.
3. Measure resistance between connector of antenna circuit and chasis gound.

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?






Component inspection

1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Connect scantool and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs)" mode
3. Using a scantool, Clear DTC.
4. Are any DTCs present ?






Verification of Vehicle Repair

After a repair, it is essential to verify that the fault is corrected.
1. After connecting Scan tool select "DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES(DTCs)" mode.
2. Clear recorded DTC using Scan tool.
3. After selecting "DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES(DTCs)" mode and check if DTC is recorded again.
4. Are any DTCs recorded ?
