Heater Core Case: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
Preparation:
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain engine coolant.
- Discharge and recover refrigerant. (With A/C)

1. Instrument panel assembly
2. Center & Lower vent duct
- Remove 5 clips and 1 screw.

3. Instrument panel center bracket assembly
4. Resister connector

5. Duct (W/O A/C)
5a. Evaporator assembly (With A/C)




6. Heater hose
- Disconnect heater hoses at heater unit.

7. Foot duct
- Remove 2 clips and 1 screw.
8. Heater unit assembly
- Remove the ECM harness bracket.
- Carefully remove the clip fixed to the harness, then remove the heater unit fixing nuts.

INSTALLATION
To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order, noting the following point:
1. Adjust control cables.
