Secondary Air Injection Pump Outlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
3. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump outlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.




4. Disconnect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting (2) from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.
5. Remove the AIR pump outlet hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the AIR pump outlet hose to the vehicle.
2. Connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting (2) to the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.




3. Connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting to the AIR check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.
4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
5. Close the hood.
