Removal

1. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the transmission from the jack.

Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - TorqShift(R) Removal.

2. Remove the 8 bolts and the flexplate.

Installation

1. Install the flexplate and the 8 bolts in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).





2. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - TorqShift(R) Installation.

3. Using the scan tool, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure following the on-screen instructions.
