Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the EVAP purge solenoid valve electrical connector.




2. Remove the EVAP purge solenoid valve retaining bolts (3).
3. Remove the EVAP purge solenoid valve (2) from the intake manifold (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the EVAP purge solenoid valve (2) to the intake manifold (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the EVAP purge solenoid valve retaining bolts (3).

Tighten the retaining bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb in).

3. Connect the EVAP purge solenoid valve electrical connector.
