Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

Window Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the door seal trim. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom.
2. Remove the front door body side molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Front Door Body Side in Exterior Trim.
3. Remove the screws that secure the glass to the window regulator.
4. Remove the glass from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the glass in the door and position the glass within the window regulator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the glass to the window regulator with the screws.

Tighten the glass screws to 7 Nm (62 lb in).

3. Install the front door body side molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Front Door Body Side in Exterior Trim.
4. Install the door seal trim. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom.
