Vent and Line Pressure Plug Assemble

1. Hand start and install the line pressure plug (405) into the case cover (401) before you tighten the plug.
- Tighten the plug to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).





2. Apply thread sealant to the vent (404).





3. On some models, use a soft mallet in order to tap the vent (404) into the case cover (401).





4. When installing the elbow style vent (404), use a 5 mm (3/16 in) pin punch in order to tap the vent (404) into the case cover (401). Tap on the bottom flange until the flange is flush with the case cover.
