Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

Removal Procedure

Note: Do not remove the generator and water pump belt.

1. Remove the power steering and air conditioning drive belt from the power steering pump. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement (Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement).




2. Remove the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the drive belt idler pulley.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the drive belt idler pulley bolt and tighten to50 Nm (37 lb ft).
3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement (Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement).
