CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The programmer provides a ground for the defogger relay when it receives a command from the Climate Control Panel (CCP) via the data line.

TEST DESCRIPTION
1. This check determines if the fault is in the coil circuit of the relay or the switch circuit.
2. This step determines if there is a short to ground in CKT 291 or a bad programmer.
3. This step determines if the fault is due to the relay or a short to voltage in CKT 293.
