Automatic Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement- LeftRemoval Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle.
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel.
3. Remove the left front fascia extension.
4. Remove the left transaxle mount.
5. Remove the 4 bolts securing the left transaxle mount bracket (1) to the side cover.
6. Remove the left transaxle mount bracket (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Apply thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or equivalent, to the bolts that secure the left transaxle mount bracket to the case side cover.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions
2. Install the left transaxle mount bracket (1) to the case side cover.
^ Tighten the 4 left transaxle mount bracket bolts to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the left transaxle mount.
4. Install left front fascia extension.
5. Install the left front tire and wheel.
6. Lower the vehicle.
