Fan Shroud: Service and Repair

Replacing Fan Cowl
Remove fan impeller with fan clutch from water pump.
Remove coolant expansion tank from fan cowl.

Note: Coolant lines remain connected.

Remove auxiliary water pump from fan cowl.

Note: Coolant lines remain connected.





Unclip AUC sensor.





Lever out expansion rivets (1) on left and right.
Detach sealing strip (2).

Installation:
Pay attention to installation position of sealing strip.

Lift out fan cowl and fan impeller together.





Installation:
Attach fan cowl in retaining lugs at bottom and sides.
