Fluid Pan: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Sealing Or Replacing Transmission Oil Pan (A5S 560Z)




- Unfasten oil drain plug (1). Drain off transmission oil.

Installation:
- Replace sealing ring.
- Tightening torque: M16 = 30Nm / M14 = 100 Nm / M10 = 16 Nm
- Top up transmission, refer to "Checking Oil Level In Automatic Transmission" Service and Repair




- Unscrew bolts and remove oil pan.

Installation:
- Evenly tighten screws in several passes.
- Tightening torque: 10 Nm




- Lift expansion tank off oil pan.




- Lift out clips, remove magnets and clean.




Installation:
- Clean oil sump.
- Install magnets.
- Attach new gasket to oil pan with Vaseline.
