Console: Service and Repair

- Remove instrument panel trim at bottom left. Service and Repair

- Remove instrument panel trim at bottom right. Service and Repair

- Disconnect battery ground lead.

- Pull off control knob.





- Unscrew screws.





- Lift off cover.

- Pull off wires.





- Unscrew screws.





- Compress mask at bottom, lift out and pull off toward front.

- Remove power seat switches.





- Unscrew screw.

- Lift out power window switches and pull off plugs.

- Pull up parking brake lever and remove cover.





- Take off shift lever knob and dust cover.

- Unscrew screw.





- Cars with Automatic Transmission:

• Unscrew right mask mounting screws. Take off mask.

- Move selector lever to range 1 or 2.





- Unscrew screw.

- Pull off handle.





• Installation: Guide pin of push button into pull rod hole.





- Unscrew screw.





- Lift out ashtray and remove insert. Pull off ashtray light.





- Unscrew tray mounting screws.





- Unscrew screws. Take off trim.





- Unscrew screws at front left and right.

- Remove tray toward rear.

- Reverse procedure to install.
