Vacuum Pump Component Overview, RS 6

The RS 6 has a mechanically driven vacuum pump. There is also a vacuum connection on the intake manifold for the critical idle.

The vacuum pump is attached on the right cylinder block to the bulkhead.

• The engine must be removed in order to be able to remove/install the vacuum pump.





1 Banjo bolt

• 17 Nm

2 Seals

• Replace

3 Oil supply line

• to the vacuum pump

4 Bolt

• 9 Nm

5 Banjo bolt

• 17 Nm

6 Seals

• Replace

7 Vacuum hose

• To brake booster

8 O-Ring

• Replace

9 Vacuum pump

• For brake booster

10 Bolt

• 9 Nm
