Secondary Air Injection Right Combination Valve

Removing

• During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

- Install protective body covers. Refer to => [ Protective Body Covers, Installing ] Protective Body Covers, Installing.

- Remove the left - 1 - and right - 3 - engine compartment trim.





- Remove the engine cover - 2 -.

- Remove the air filter housing.





CAUTION!
There is a risk of destroying the transmission.

• Cover the openings - arrows - with cloths to prevent bolts or nuts from accidentally entering the transmission through them.







- Remove the air ducts - 1 - and - 2 -.





- Remove the rear noise insulation - 1 -.





- Remove the secondary air hose - 1 - by pressing the release buttons.





- Remove the vacuum hose - 2 - from the secondary air injection (AIR) combination valve.

- Remove the bolts - 3 - and - 4 - and the secondary air combination valve.

• The bolts - 4 - are reached from below.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Rear Coolant Pipe ] Rear Coolant Pipe, => [ Secondary Air Injection System Assembly Overview ] Service and Repair.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace the gasket.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

• During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

- Install air filter housing.

- Install the engine compartment trim.

- Install the rear noise insulation.
