Secondary Air Injection Left Combination Valve

Removing

• During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

- Remove the engine compartment crossmember. Refer to => [ Engine Compartment Crossmember ] Engine Assembly.

CAUTION!
There is a risk of destroying the transmission.

• Cover the openings - arrows - with cloths to prevent bolts or nuts from accidentally entering the transmission through them.







- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.





• The bolts - 1 - are reached from below.

- Remove the vacuum hose - 3 - from the secondary air injection (AIR) combination valve.

- Remove the secondary air hose - 4 - by pressing the release buttons.

- Remove the secondary air combination valve.

Installing

• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Rear Coolant Pipe ] Rear Coolant Pipe, => [ Secondary Air Injection System Assembly Overview ] Service and Repair.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace the gasket.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

• During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

- Install the engine compartment crossmember. Refer to => [ Engine Compartment Crossmember ] Engine Assembly.
