Front Coolant Line

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip Tray for Workshop Crane (VAS 6208)

• Hose Clamp Pliers (VAS 6340)

Removing

- Drain the coolant completely. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] Procedures.

- Remove the luggage compartment tray.





- Place the Drip Tray for Workshop Crane (VAS 6208) under the separating point.





- Remove the coolant hoses from the front coolant return pipe - arrows -.

- Remove the bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and remove the front coolant return pipe.

Installing

• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Coolant Pipes, Front and in Vehicle Center Assembly Overview ] Coolant Pipes, Front and In Vehicle Center Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

- Install the luggage compartment tray.

- Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] Procedures.
