Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair

Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove left rear wheel.

- Remove left rear wheel housing liner.





- Separate the hose connections - 1 -, - 3 - and - 4 -.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 2 - from Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve 2 (N115).

- Remove vacuum hoses - 3 - and - 4 - from Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve 2 (N115) - 2 -.





- Pull solenoid valve out of mounting - 1 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Leak Detection Pump Assembly Overview ] Leak Detection Pump Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

- Install left rear wheel housing liner.
