Drive Plate

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Counter-Holder Tool (10 - 201)

Removing

• Engine or transmission removed.

- Insert Counter-Holder Tool (10 - 201) to loosen bolts.





- Identify position of drive plate to crankshaft with a felt-tip pen for reinstallation.

- Remove drive plate.

- Remove shim from behind it.

Installing

• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Drive Plate Assembly Overview ] Drive Plate Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace bolts which have been tightened to torque.

- Install drive plate with shim.

- Turn over Counter-Holder Tool (10 - 201) to tighten bolts.
