Display through August 2008

The front information display control head (J685) (display) is attached to the Instrument cluster trim from behind together with the instrument cluster.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove instrument cluster panel.

- Disengage connector cover - 2 - by pressing latch - 1 - in direction of - arrow A -.





- Swing connector cover - 2 - upward in direction of - arrow B - and disconnect harness connector.

- Remove the screws - arrows - (2 Nm) and then remove the display.





Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- Make sure connector cover is audibly engaged.
