Steering Column Trim, Lower

Removing






- Push the tilt lever (3) downward to the released position.

- Remove the screws (1) attaching the upper steering column trim to the lower steering column trim.

- Unclip the upper and lower trim from one another by applying hand pressure along the seams where the steering column trim connect on the sides.

- Remove the upper steering column trim.

- Remove the remaining screw (2) attaching the lower steering column trim (4) to the column.

- Remove the lower steering column trim (4).

Installing






- Install the lower steering column trim (4) over the tilt lever and onto the column.

- Install the screw (2) attaching the lower steering column trim (4) to the steering column.

- Position the upper steering column trim on the column.

- Clip the upper and lower steering column trim to one another.

- Install the screws (1) attaching the lower steering column trim to the upper steering column trim.

- Push the tilt lever upward, locking the column in place.
