Liftgate Trim Panel, Lower

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






- Disconnect the power liftgate link rod from the liftgate pivot, if equipped.

- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) , disengage the clips securing the liftgate upper trim panel (3) to the liftgate (1) and remove the upper trim panel.






- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) , disengage the clips securing the liftgate lower trim panel (1) to the liftgate (2).

- Disconnect the wire connector from the liftgate lamp and remove the lower trim panel (1).

Installing






- Position the liftgate lower trim panel (1) to the liftgate (2) and connect the wire connector to the liftgate lamp.

- Install the liftgate lower trim panel onto the liftgate and engage the clips. Make sure the clips are fully engaged.






- Position the liftgate upper trim panel (3) to the liftgate (1) and engage the clips. Make sure the retaining clips are fully engaged.

- Connect the power liftgate link rod to the liftgate pivot, if equipped..

- Connect the negative battery cable.
