Flex Plate: Service and Repair

Flexplate

Removing






- Remove the transmission.

- Remove the flexplate bolts (2).

- Remove the flex plate spacer (3) and flexplate (1).

Installing






- Position the flexplate (1) with spacer (3) to the crankshaft.

- Apply adhesive to the flexplate bolts (2).

- Install the flexplate bolts. Tighten the bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft lbs).

- Install the transmission.
