Accelerator Pedal

Removing






- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Disconnect the accelerator pedal electrical connector.

- Remove the accelerator pedal bolts (1).

- Remove the accelerator pedal (2).

Installing






- Install the accelerator pedal (2).

- Install the accelerator pedal bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (106 in lbs).

- Connect the accelerator pedal electrical connector.

- Connect the negative battery cable.

- Use a scan tool and select the electronic throttle control relearn function to relearn the accelerator pedal position sensor values.
