Removal and Replacement



Rubber Bonded Bushing

Note: The marking - arrow - on the bottom side of the rear final drive identifies which final drive is installed.





Example of the Identification on a "02D" Final Drive

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
^ Thrust piece 3291/1 from the assembly device 3291
^ Spindle from the assembly device 3292
^ Thrust pieces 3348 and 3348/1 from the front and rear bearing tool 3348
^ Internal puller Kukko 21/7 - 1 -
^ Counter support Kukko 22/2 - 4 -
^ Upper Bearing, Removing

CAUTION! Wear protective gloves.

To position the counter support :





- Break two pieces - arrows - out of the bearing collar.





- Remove the metal core - 1 -.





- Remove the rubber bonded bushing - 1 -.

A - Support Kukko 22-2
B - Internal puller Kukko 21-7

Drive Out The Rubber Bonded Bushing Downward





- Remove the rubber bonded bushing - 1 - with a front and rear bearing tool 3348 and plastic mallet.

Installing
Pull The Rubber Bonded Bushing Downward





- Pull the bearing far enough until the collar contacts the entire circumference on the final drive.

Pull The Rubber Bonded Bushing In Upward





- Pull the bearing far enough until the collar contacts the entire circumference on the final drive.
