High Pressure Pump Assembly Overview

1 High pressure pump

• Bank 1 with fuel metering valve (N290).

• Bank 2 with fuel metering valve 2 (N402).

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ High Pressure Pump ] High Pressure Pump.

2 Bolt, 9 Nm

3 Seal

• Deleted

4 Locking bolt

• Deleted

5 High pressure line

• 25 Nm

• Before loosening, disconnect ground line at battery with ignition switched off.

• Connectors should not show any signs of damage.

• Do not change bend shape.

• High pressure lines, installing. Refer to --> [ Hand-tighten the union nuts for the high-pressure lines. ] Fuel Injector.

6 Fuel supply line

• 22 Nm

• Before loosening, disconnect ground line at battery with ignition switched off.

• Connectors should not show any signs of damage.

• Do not change bend shape.

7 O-ring

• Replace

8 Roller tappet
