Intake Manifold Assembly Overview
1 Bolts
• 2.5 Nm
2 Intake manifold runner position sensor (G336)
• For cylinder bank 1.
• Perform an "adaptation" after replacing.
3 Bolts
• 2.5 Nm
4 Intake manifold flap vacuum actuator
• For cylinder bank 1.
• Connection diagram for vacuum hoses, refer to --> [ Vacuum Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
5 Fuel rail with intake manifold flaps
• For cylinder bank 1.
6 Bolts
• 2.5 Nm
7 Crankcase housing ventilation pressure regulator valve
8 Bolts
• 9 Nm
9 Throttle valve control module (J338)
• Terminals of harness connector are gold plated.
• Remove in order to remove the intake manifold.
• When replacing, adapt the Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623) to the throttle valve control module. Refer to ; "Guided Functions".
10 Gasket
• Replace if damaged
11 Bolt
• 9 Nm
12 Bolt
• Tighten diagonally in 3 passes:
• First pass - 8 Nm
• Second pass - 9 Nm
• Final pass - tighten an additional 90°.
13 Gasket for intake manifold
• Replace if damaged.
14 Fuel rail with intake manifold flaps
• For cylinder bank 2.
• For individual components, refer to --> [ Fuel Rail and Injector Assembly Overview ] Fuel Rail and Injector Assembly Overview.
15 Bolts
• 2.5 Nm
16 Intake manifold runner position sensor 2 (G512)
• For cylinder bank 2.
• Perform an "adaptation" after replacing.
17 Bolts
• 2.5 Nm
18 Intake manifold flap 2 vacuum actuator
• For cylinder bank 2.
• Connection diagram for vacuum hoses, refer to --> [ Vacuum Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
19 Intake Manifold Tuning (IMT) valve (N156)
20 Intake manifold change over valve vacuum actuator
21 Bolts
• 2.5 Nm
