Cooling System Components Assembly Overview, Body Side





1 Expansion tank

• Perform leak test of cooling system using cooling system tester (VAG 1274) and adapter (VAG 1274/8).

2 Cap

• Check using cooling system tester (VAG 1274) and adapter (VAG 1274/9)

• Test pressure 1.4 to 1.6 bar.

3 Connector

• For low coolant indicator.

4 Spring type clip

• Check for secure seat.

5 Coolant hose

6 To throttle valve control module (J338)

7 To rear coolant pipe

8 Overflow hose

9 Bolt, 10 Nm

10 Coolant line

11 To top coolant hose

12 Bolt, 8 Nm
