Selector Lever Emergency Release

Selector lever emergency release 09G, 6 Speed A/T

Do not remove handle.
- Unclip shift cover and hold to the side.
- Operate brake or activate parking brake.





- Press on yellow plastic piece from right toward left.

Lever can now be shifted out of P position.

Handle, removing and installing

For all handles, there is the possibility that the button can be pressed into the handle. Never install handle with the button pressed in.





- Pull button out beyond its press point before removing.
- Secure button from being pressed in using a cable tie or wire.
- Unclip cover.





- Disengage handle.
- After installing, engage handle again, press plastic piece again downward under the handle.





- In new handles, remove transport protection device after disengaging.
- Disconnect connector from cover.





- Pull off handle upward.
- Press small lever for cable rod - arrow - again into groove before handle is installed.
- After installing, engage handle again, press plastic piece again downward under the handle.

- Pull button out beyond its press point before removing.
- Secure button from being pressed in using a cable tie or wire.
- Unclip cover.





- Disengage handle.
- After installing, engage handle again, press plastic piece again downward under the handle.





- In new handles, remove transport protection device after disengaging.
- Disconnect connector from cover.
- Pull off handle upward.
- After installing, engage handle again, press plastic piece again downward under the handle.
