Rear Heating And A/C Unit, Component Overview







NOTE:
- Servicing refrigerant circuit.
- Following repairs and/or replacement of components, initiate basic setting.

1 - Left lower B-pillar air channel
- Removing:
- Remove driver's seat
- Remove left B-pillar trim
- Lift carpet and remove two screws (2 Nm)
2 - Left footwell air channel
- Removing:
- Remove driver's seat
- Lift carpet and remove two screws (2 Nm)
3 - Left Rear Upper Body Vent Motor -V315-
- Removing:
- Remove center console
- Remove screws at motor.
4 - Left B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-off Flap Motor -V212-
- Removing:
- Remove driver's seat
- Remove center console
- Remove screws at motor
5 - Left Rear Upper Body Vent Motor -V316-
- Removing:
- Remove center console
- Remove screws at motor.
6 - Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-off Flap Motor -V211-
- Removing:
- Remove passenger's seat
- Remove center console
- Remove screws at motor
7 - Right B-pillar & footwell air channel with shut-off flap
- Removing
- Remove passenger's seat
- Lift carpet and remove two screws (2 Nm)
8 - Right footwell air channel
- Removing:
- Remove driver's seat
- Lift carpet and remove two screws (2 Nm)
9 - Right lower B-pillar air channel
- Removing:
- Remove passenger's seat
- Remove right B-pillar trim
- Lift carpet and remove two screws (2 Nm)
10 - Right air channel
- Removing
- Remove rear seat cushion and backrest
- Lift carpet and remove screw at air channel (1.4 Nm)
11 - Right upper B-pillar air channel
- Removing:
- Remove passenger's seat
- Remove right B-pillar trim
12 - Right B-pillar air outlet
- Removing:
- Remove passenger's seat
- Remove right B-pillar trim
13 - Right air channel
- Removing
- Remove rear seat cushion and backrest
- Lift carpet and remove screw at air channel (1.4 Nm)
14 - Right Rear Vent Temperature Sensor -G406-
15 - Right rear air channel
- Removing
- Remove left rear side trim
16 - Rear heating and A/C unit
- Rear heating and A/C unit, service position
17 - Left rear air channel
- Removing
- Remove left rear side trim
18 - Left Rear Vent Temperature Sensor -G405-
19 - Left air channel
- Removing
- Remove rear seat cushion and backrest
- Lift carpet and remove two screws (1.4 Nm) and nut (2 Nm) at air channel
20 - Left air channel
- Removing
- Remove rear seat cushion and backrest
- Lift carpet and remove screw (1.4 Nm) at air channel
21 - Left B-pillar & footwell air channel with shut-off flap
- Removing
- Remove driver's seat
- Lift carpet and remove two screws (2 Nm)
22 - Left B-pillar air outlet
- Removing:
- Remove driver's seat
- Remove left B-pillar trim
23 - Left upper B-pillar air channel
- Removing:
- Remove driver's seat
- Remove left B-pillar trim
