Differentiation of clutch manufacturers 0A4, 5 Speed M/T
A clutch could be installed from either of the manufacturers, "Sachs" or "LuK"
Clutch makes can be differentiated with transmission installed as follows:
- Remove noise insulation.





Some recesses - arrows - are located between engine - A - and transmission - B - in lower area of engine oil pan.
- Through these recesses, inspect outer contour of flywheel.





- The outer contour of the flywheel can also be inspected by removing small cover plate - A -

Rounded outer contour - arrows - = Clutch manufacturer, Sachs = - A -
- Clutch manufactured by Sachs.





- Service clutch of Sachs make.

Squared outer contour - arrows 1 - and a circulated depression - arrow 2 - = Clutch manufacturer, LuK = - B -.
