Telephone Mount, Rabbit Sedan through 05.06

Removing

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove cell phone from base plate.

- Press knob - A -, hold down and slide cell phone mount downward - arrow - and out.





- Unclip cover - arrows - from bracket.





- Remove both bolts - arrows -.





- Pry contact plate - arrow - out of base mount with a suitable screwdriver.





- Remove the four screws - arrows - from contact plate.





- Slide wiring harness in contact plate in direction of - arrow - and remove.





- Now remove bracket.

Installing

• When installing bracket on instrument panel, ensure retainer in instrument panel does not fall down.

Install in reverse order of removal.
