Generator (GEN) Ribbed Belt Pulley - 8-cyl. Engine, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Torque wrench V.A.G 1331 (or 5 - 50 Nm equivalent)







- Socket VAS 3310

Removing:
- Clamp generator on bracket points in bench vise.







- Use socket insert VAS 3310 to remove nut of overrunning clutch pulley from generator shaft.

Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Install and torque fasteners according to values in table.
