Work sequence





- Fit old valve into corresponding guide. End of valve stem must be flush with guide. Due to slight differences in stem diameters, use only an intake valve in an intake guide and an exhaust valve in an exhaust guide.
- Determine valve rock.
- Wear limit: maximum 1.3 mm

Note:
^ If the wear limit is exceeded, repeat the calculation with new valves. If the wear limit is still exceeded replace cylinder head. Valve guides can not be replaced.
^ If the valve is to be replaced as part of a repair, use a new valve for the calculation.
