Generator (GEN) Ribbed Belt Pulley - 8-Cyl. Engine, Replacing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items







- VAG 1332 Torque wrench (or 40 - 200 Nm equivalent)







- 3310 Socket

Removing
- Remove generator.
- Clamp generator on bracket points in bench vise.







- Use socket 3310 -1- with wrench and socket head wrench to loosen nut on generator shaft

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Install and torque ribbed belt pulley to values specified in table. Refer to Charging System / Specifications.
