^ 3352 A Setting gauge for locking cable

CAUTION! The description below for the adjustment of the locking cable must be strictly adhered to.

Requirements:
- Locking cable in installation position.
- Center console removed.
- Selector lever in position "P".
- Ignition key in removal position.

Adjustment procedure:

Note: Position the steering wheel in the fully extended and downward towards floor.





- Loosen bolts/screws -1- on support bracket
- Install setting gauge 3352 A between locking lever -2- and locking eye -3-.
- Remove support bracket back in direction of arrow onto stop when adjusting play.
- In this position it must be possible to insert and remove the setting gauge 3352 A easily.
- Tighten bolt -1- on support bracket to 10 Nm.
- Remove setting gauge.
- It is essential to check function of ignition key removal lock now.
